1st Person Comes Forward, Grim Details Of What Happened On Prince’s Plane
Since Prince died back in April, so many aspects of his life remain a mystery since he was adamant about maintaining his privacy. But now, a young lady has come forward with details about the days leading up to Prince’s death. According to the New York Times, Judith Hill was Prince’s final protégé and she happened to be on the plane with him the night they had to make an emergency landing because he’d fallen unconscious.
Only Living On Borrowed Time
"We knew it was only a matter of time; we had to get down,” Ms. Hill said. “We didn’t have anything on the plane to help him.”That night, Prince was revived on the tarmac with a shot of Narcan, a drug commonly used to treat opioid overdose. He was transported to Trinity Moline Hospital and released shortly after.
But unfortunately, Prince was only living on borrowed time because six days later, he collapsed again. It was reported that Prince was found hours after collapsing in the elevator. His death was the result of a fentanyl overdose.
Judith Hill was special to Prince and he believed in her talent. When Prince introduced Hill at a Paisley Park private event, he requested that her upcoming album be treated with the same respect one of his would receive.
Since Hill spent so much time with Prince in his last days, she admits that life is quite difficult now and the music industry it quite scary without the veteran musician's leadership. For the past two years, she's spent most of her time at Paisley Park recording and learning from Prince.
“I was with Prince the last two years of my life,” she said. “Now he’s gone, and I realize I was leaning on him a lot,” she said. “And that’s what’s scary. I’m on my own.”
