For years, there have been whispers about the alleged daughter Janet Jackson gave up. Of course, rumors circulate all the time when it comes to celebrities but even Janet’s ex-husband, James DeBarge, and his family have looked at her sideways about this one. Does Janet Jackson really have a secret daughter? Once again the story is making headlines but this time it’s for a different reason. Apparently, her alleged daughter is speaking out for the first time.

But this alleged “daughter” looks NOTHING like Janet or James Debarge!

Meet Tiffany Whyte:

Although most fans have probably heard about her, many don’t know her name. Well, Tiffany Whyte of Philadelphia, PA claims to be the child Janet Jackson gave up for adoption back in the 80’s before they separated.

“I’ve been kept a secret a very long time. I want people to know the truth. [Janet] has been denying me for many years. I waited 31 years.”

Now, she just wants everyone to know one thing: the truth. During an interview with The Jasmine Brand, she explained how she wants to tell her story. “I want people to know the truth. Now it’s time for me to tell my truth.”

Now, we’re not DNA experts…but…the visuals just aren’t adding up.

 

Tiffany revealed she grew up in foster care and it wasn’t until seven years ago that she discovered she’s the daughter of Janet Jackson and James Debarge. However, that’s not all she knows. She even claims she has proof that her allegations aren’t just rumors for publicity.

A Paternity Test?:

Tiffany revealed she’s reportedly spoken with James Debarge’s mother, Etterlene DeBarge, and they’ve sought answers for themselves through an alleged paternity test. According to Tiffany, they’ve taken a DNA test and the results were a match, which proves she’s their daughter.

But, are Tiffany’s claims really true? The Debarge family claims she’s telling the truth and even James’ sister, Bunny Debarge, has spoken out about the child Janet reportedly tried to cover up. However, Bunny admitted she wasn’t sure if Janet gave birth or aborted the baby.

“James and Janet married in 84 and annulled in Nov of 85. James had the understanding that Janet was pregnant at that time, but was told after she went to Japan for a year that the baby was aborted. So if there was a baby, the baby would have been born in 86. This make the child 29 not 30 or 31. We get many girls claiming to be Janet and James daughter. I say leave Janet and James alone. This has haunted my brother for years,” Bunny said.

Then, she went to discuss Tiffany. Although she believes a baby did exist, she’s unsure if Tiffany is the secret child even though her mother believes it’s true do to the alleged DNA test. “Now they want DNA for Tiffany, which no DNA is needed for. It is plain to see, she put herself out there to really be eaten up. But I guess people will do anything for that 15 min(utes) of fame. I do believe my mother being up and age now (81) ran with it once the DNA came back that she was 96 percent kin. I tried to explain to momma that the girl isn’t kin to her. There is no way she belongs to the DeBarge Jackson family. Momma felt maybe she went back in the gene and took after her. Sorry Tiffany, God bless you and we hope you find your family.”

Bunny also explained why her mother, Etterlene, welcomed Tiffany with open arms. Although she doesn’t bare much resemblance to Janet or James, there’s another reason why her mother does believe Tiffany could be her son’s daughter. “I do believe my mother being up and age now (81) ran with it once the DNA came back that she was 96 percent kin. I tried to explain to momma that the girl isn’t kin to her. There is no way she belongs to the DeBarge Jackson family. Momma felt maybe she went back in the gene and took after her.
