Jada Pinkett-Smith and Will Smith have been married for an impressive 23 years now. Throughout their marriage there has been a plethora of rumors circulating through these social media streets about their relationship. There was the separation rumors, the gay rumors, the lesbian rumors, the divorce rumors, and of course the open marriage/swinger couple rumors. It is the latter that Jada has finally decided to address head on.

The Speculation

We’ve all been hearing for years, that Jada and Will were consistently getting their swing on, especially after that 2015 interview Jada did on the Howard Stern Show. She confirmed that Will was free to roam through the vast array of thirsty groupies who wanna get with him, as long as he can look himself in the mirror:

“Here’s the deal with that, Howard, you’ve got to trust who you’re with. And at the end of the day, I’m not here to be anybody’s watcher,” Jada told Stern. “I’m not his [Will’s] watcher. He’s a grown man. Here’s what I trust — I trust that the man that Will is, is the man of integrity. So, he’s got all the freedom in the world. As long as Will can look himself in the mirror and be okay, I’m good.”

After that 2015 interview surfaced, the swinger couple rumor stuck and the internet really went wild with the open marriage topic. Neither Jada, nor Will ever addressed the swinger thing until now. On a recent episode of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, she and Queen Latifah were promoting their new movie, Girls Trip. When a fan called in and asked Jada what the craziest rumor she’d heard about her family was. Jada then stated it was the swingers rumor. Although she shot the rumor down, she did confirm that she wouldn’t be close minded to the possibility of that…another answer that will probably get folks talking even more.
