Because so many assume artists get rich on spins of a hit song from Pandora, Anita addressed her frustrations in her last tweets about how artists are NOT getting their just due.

These major record labels oftentimes play a dirty game. Just ask Prince and many others. But then, that’s the name of the game and artists often get trapped inside of horrible contracts that come back to kick them later, but the bottom line is that artists like Anita Baker deserve better, especially after all that they’ve contributed music.

Even when big name celebs like Anita have high-powered attorneys, they still get screwed. Makes you wonder sometimes how they can keep from going under.
