One thing we love about Aretha, is her inability to hide her honest opinion about something or someone.

She doesn’t seem like the type of person to sugarcoat something just to make it sound better and that always makes her interviews fun to watch. So in the video clip below, she gave props to some new school singers and threw what appears to be a lil’ shade or at most, a nice-nasty compliment when asked about others (*coughs* Nicki Minaj).
