Throughout the years, there are a few things we’ve known the Knowles tribe (Beyonce’, Solange, and mama Tina) to be- very gracious and poised women. Although we mustn’t forget about the few ‘Oops!’ moments they’ve had. Case in point: Solange in that elevator attack against her brother-in-law, while Bey stood by like nothing happened, still cracks me up every time. But I digress. For majority of their time in the public’s eye though, the trio remained the classic prim proper personification of ladies.

Welp, like Solange, even her moms, Tina Knowles-Lawson, has a tipping point- she’ll only allow so much BS to enter into her life. That was the case when a fan tried to check her over her recent Instagram post about her husband/actor, Richard Lawson’s daughter.

Most of us have learned by now that  actress, Bianca Lawson, is Richard’s daughter and if you haven’t heard…SURPRISE! Now that we have the Lawson family tree outta the way, here’s why Mama Tina just clapped back over her stepdaughter, Bianca.

The Post That Started It All

It all started when Tina posted a photo of Bianca, on The Real talk sow, with a caption that read, “My beautiful bonus Daughter on The real with the wonderful hosts of ‘The Real’ I will be Co- hosting on Oct. 11th tune in.”

Fan’s Reaction & Tina’s Clapback

Fan’s Comment:
One of Tina’s fans, who goes by @simplyladymay on Instagram, soon called her out for referring to as her “bonus daughter,” instead of her stepdaughter. The commenter also brought up Kelly Rowland and her son, Titan, to further prove her point and to put that extra stank on it, she wrote in all caps so we know it’s real:

simplyladymay: Bonus daughter???? The entire world knows you have 2 biological children BEYONCE AND SOLANGE..STOP CALLING YOUR STEPCHILDREN BONUS..KELLY’S SON IS YOUR GRANDSON…YOU’VE KNOWN KELLY SINCE SHE WAS 8, 9 YEARS OLD…TITAN IS YOUR GRANDSON… RICHARD’S CHILDREN ARE YOUR STEPCHILDREN…STOP WITH THE BONUS SON AND BONUS DAUGHTER… SOUNDS BAD.”

Tina’s Response

A milder version of Tina’s ‘inner Solange’ then bubbled to the surface and responded:

“Hello simplyladymay I respect everyone’s opinion even if I don’t agree with it! Yes Kelly is absolutely my daughter she has been with me since she was 11 years old and thus you have a wonderful mother I consider myself her mother as well and yes Titan is definitely my grandson. As for my husband’s children who I consider a wonderful bonus from God. (I do not like the term stepmother or stepchildren) whom I choose to call My Bonus Children because bonus means an unexpected plus or added extra. They are amazing unexpected plus. So no shade in this posting, only my attempt to educate and give you my point of view.”

And boom! Mama Tina stood up for herself, but still did with much style and grace. Gotta love it! On a side note, what’chall think about her “bonus daughter” reference to Richard Lawson’s daughter?
