On July 26, 2017, it will be two years since the beloved Whitney Houston’s and Bobby Brown’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, passed away. After her death, her gravesite was without a headstone for some time and it wasn’t until today (June 19, 2017), that it was revealed she’d finally gotten the beautiful headstone next to the graves of her mother and her maternal grandfather, John Russell Houston.

Bobbi’s headstone and grave sits between her grandfather and Whitney’s graves and inscribed on it are the words that no parent should ever have to painfully write about their baby, “Resting Peacefully.” It’s beautifully decorated with a large treble clef musical note next to Bobbi Kristina’s smiling image atop of it.

Bobbi’s loved ones seem to have visited her grave recently, because fresh flowers and an angel figurine were placed beside her headstone, which sits in a New Jersey cemetery in the family plot.

One of the saddest images that come to mind when seeing Bobbi’s headstone, is the image of she and her then boyfriend, Nick Gordon, visiting her mother, Whitney, there in 2013. In the photo below, Bobbi Kristina cried uncontrollably as she grieved her mother a year after her 2012 passing from the eerily same conditions she was found in- drowned and unconscious in a hotel bathtub. The ironic part is that Nick Gordon- who, along with several others, was present when Whitney died and who was found legally responsible for Bobbi’s death in a civil lawsuit- was by Bobbi Kristina’s side comforting her as she grieved for Whitney in the photo…

As it stands now, Nick is still reportedly ‘a person of interest’ in the criminal investigation into Bobbi Kristina’s 2015 death, where she fell into a coma after being found unconscious and faced down in in her bathtub, ultimately dying from her injuries.

Bobby Brown has publicly stated on several occasions that he believes Nick is responsible. Also, now the Georgia district attorney is saying that Nick’s pending criminal case- where his girlfriend recently had him locked up for allegedly beating her- will play a role in the Bobbi Kristina criminal investigation.

For the record, Nick has adamantly denied all claims and allegations against him and he has not been charged in Bobbi’s death thus far. So at this point, he’s just like everyone else under the law- he’s innocent until proven guilty. Only time will tell either way.
