A Glimpse of Bobbi Kristina’s Life:

The trailer opens with the last major event in Bobbi Kristina’s life when she was found unconscious in the bathtub of her townhome. In the clip, the 22-year-old – portrayed by Joy Rovaris – was faced with visions of her mother, Whitney Houston, and her aunt, Pat Houston, warning her about her boyfriend, Nick Gordon. The film sheds light on the challenges Bobbi Kristina faced being the child of two celebrities. Although Bobbi Kristina was exposed to drugs and alcohol at an early age, her life didn’t begin to unravel until after the death of her mother. Shortly after Whitney’s death, Bobbi Kristina’s relationship with Nick Gordon intensified. However, it’s still unclear how she ended up in her bathtub.

Fans’ Reaction:

With most biopics, viewers usually share reactions of anticipation regardless of whether film appears to be potentially good or bad. But with Bobbi Kristina’s biopic, most viewers just have one question, “Why?” Since Bobbi Kristina was the daughter of two legendary singers who lived a relatively different life from most children, being exposed to drug and alcohol abuse, many viewers wondered why her life needed to be put on display. Others even described her story as a sad tragedy of a life cut short.
