Colin Kaepernick Responds To Eminem’s Shout Out During Trump-Bashing Cypher

Posted On : October 12, 2017

Colin Kaepernick is normally a man of few words, but lately, he’s been a bit vocal about the controversy surrounding the NFL. On Sunday, October 8, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback shocked fans when he responded to the false allegations about him agreeing to stand during the National Anthem if an NFL team decided to sign him. Now, he also has something to say about Eminem’s latest jaw-dropping statement.

Eminem His Hard:

Unlike many people who have been vocal about Colin Kaepernick, Eminem actually spoke out in support of the blackballed free agent. During the BET cypher, Eminem turned quite a few heads when he threw verbal shots at Donald Trump. Em also tackled the controversy surrounding the criticism of NFL players’ decision to kneel during the National Anthem.”All these horrible tragedies and he’s bored and would rather cause a Twitter storm,” Shady spit. “But this is his form of distraction, plus he gets an enormous reaction when he attacks the NFL, so we focus on that instead of talking Puerto Rico or gun reform for Nevada. All these horrible tragedies and he’s bored and would rather cause a Twitter storm with the Packers.”

But, Em didn’t stop there. He also shouted out Colin Kaepernick.  “F**k that, this is for Colin, ball up a fist and keep that s**t balled like Donald the b***h.”

Humble Appreciation:

After the cypher aired, of course, footage of the ruthless freestyle went viral on social media. Tons of fans praised the Detroit rapper for speaking his mind and not holding back, but fans weren’t the only people applauding Eminem. Surprisingly, Colin Kaepernick also shared his reaction to the cypher and he was obviously pleased. The free agent took to social media and to humbly tell Eminem how much he appreciated his support. Fans echoed Colin’s sentiments with thousands of likes on his posts.

Of course, Trump supporters aren’t happy with Eminem, but surprisingly, Trump hasn’t attempted to launch a Twitter attack on the outspoken emcee. It’s probably safe to say he won’t try it because he knows exactly who not to play with!

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
