For the past nearly 6 decades the boss, Ms. Ross has shown us that she is a incredibly talented superstar whose presence just leaves people in awe. No matter what room she graces- be it a jam packed arena, or her local grocery store (where she’s been spotted frequently)- Diana Ross never ceases to amaze.

Her presence is so powerful, that even her kids remain in awe of who their momma is. That was evident in the recent posts two of Diana’s five children shared. Actors, Tracey Ellis Ross and Evan Ross, both took to Instagram to show they’re Moms some love. Apparently, they accompanied Diana on a private jet to one of her Vegas performances. They’re posts showed two very different sides of the woman who raised them- the superstar and the grandma…or shall we say, the ‘glam-ma.’

Evan’s Posts

Evan posted a photo of Diana on a glamorous jet, gazing into her 2 year old grandbaby, Jagger Snow’s, eyes. Jagger is Evan’s and his wife, Ashlee Simpson’s daughter. He captioned the photo:

THIS PHOTO is everything to ME!!!! So much love. MY MOM loving on my baby girl!!!!! EVERYTHING

And you already know Evan had to get a few shots of himself in front the jet and in the jet, to show he and his Momma were living the jet-set life. That’s how you do it Evan!

Tracee Pays Homage To Mom

Then came Tracee’s post. She, too, is awed by her mother’s grace and poise on stage. In a video she shared of Diana’s recent performance, Diana joked about being “47 years old”…instead of 73. So Tracee had to hold it down for her mother’s new ‘age’ and therefore captioned her photo with:

We also want to extend a big congrats to Diana Ross on her upcoming American Music Awards ‘Lifetime Achievement Award.’ Tracee Ellis Ross made that announcement on Instagram, with a video collage of her mother’s many AMA memories. She referred her mother as an icon and gushed over how she is proud as hell to call her mom.

What They’re Doing Now

Although Evan and Tracee are floored by all their mother has accomplished, understandably so, they too are still grindin’ and building individual legacies of their own. Tracee is currently starring on the very successful ABC sitcom, Black-ish, alongside Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Jennifer Lewis and more.

Evan Ross has just been added to this season’s popular Lee Daniels directed series, Star. Some of his co-stars are Queen Latifah, Benjamin Bratt, Michael Michele (from New Jack City), Luke James (from The New Edition Story), Elijah Kelley (from The N.E. Story), Quincy Brown (P. Diddy’s ‘son’ and Al B. Sure’s biological son).

Although Diana has acquired a high level of greatness, we’re pretty sure she feels like her greatest accomplishment is being a mother to all of her children- Evan, Tracee, Rhonda Ross, Chudney Ross and Ross Naess- as well as her five grandbabies.
