“Family Matters” Actress/Ex Adult Film Star Angry After Being Left Out Of Show’s Reunion

The 90’s Family Matters sitcom was centered around ‘Steve Urkel’ and the ‘Winslow family,’ which consisted of ‘Carl and Harriette Winslow’ and their three children, ‘Eddie, Laura, and Judy Winslow.’ Then all of a sudden, after the fourth season, little ‘Judy,’ played by actress, Jaimee Foxworth, disappeared from the show without any explanation in the script.

After Family Matters, Jaimee also disappeared from the public’s eye altogether, until she resurfaced in the 2000’s as an adult film actress. She’s no longer in the adult entertainment business, but the 38 year old actress recently brought up her past career when she spoke to The Root. She, as well as many fans on social media, are highly pissed off that Entertainment Weekly excluded her from their new Family Matters reunion coverage. All of the other cast members- including some who joined the show after Jaimee- were invited and Jaimee thinks it has something to do with her former adult career. See what was reported below via The Root:

“I was not invited at all. I wasn’t even contacted,” Foxworth said in an interview with The Root. “Shawn (Waldo) sent me a text two days before it was released. He asked if anyone contacted me, and he just wanted to let me know that EW contacted them to do a reunion cover. And he just didn’t want me to be shocked when it came out,” Foxworth continued. “The people in the picture are more important than the picture itself. It was a slap in the face from Entertainment Weekly. I don’t think there’s any good explanation. If they want to use adult films as the reason, I’m not the first person to do adult films and won’t be the last,” Foxworth said.

She also said that when she saw the EW photoshoot and realized that they even included a portrait of the late ‘Estelle Momma Winslow’ (the grandmother), played by the late Rosetta LeNoire, she knew the exclusion was intentional:

“By being included, It could have started a conversation about how certain people in a family don’t always do what everyone agrees with. Sure I did adult films, but the only people that are going to be shocked about it, are kids. It’s not shocking. I did not kill anyone. I didn’t murder anyone. The only pain I inflicted on anyone was myself,” Foxworth said.

Jaimee Foxworth also explained why she decided to speak out about this:

“You can’t let people trample all over you. At some point you have to speak out. And let people know some things are not ok. I had to speak out and say something,” she said.

Jaimee Foxworth seems to have a point because it is clear to see that she was deliberately left outta the photo shoot.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
