Oprah Went To Bank For 1st Time In 30 Yrs, Fans Flip Out Over How Much She Deposited
When it comes to lifestyles of the rich and famous, we all know celebrities live a much different life from us, regular folks. On the surface, most fans see the obvious differences – lavish homes in affluent neighborhoods, designer clothes, and driving (or being driven in) exotic luxury whips. But Oprah Winfrey recently shared mind-blowing details about her life that most people definitely can’t relate to. During a recent segment with Ellen DeGeneres, the 63-year-old billionaire revealed she hasn’t been inside a bank in years; how long it’s been will trip you out though.
Whistling To The Bank:
According to E! News, Oprah was featured on Ellen DeGeneres’ “Burning Questions” and she was asked a question most people would have a quick answer to. Ellen asked Oprah what is her ATM PIN. Surprisingly, Oprah admitted she doesn’t even have one. In fact, Oprah revealed she hadn’t been inside of a bank branch in almost 30 YEARS. “I went to the bank recently, because I hadn’t been since 1988,” Oprah said. That just changed recently, when she made a trip to the bank.
Dang! Oprah’s Big Deposit:
When asked why she decided to go to the bank after all these years, ironically she revealed she actually went to deposit a check. But, of course, there was nothin’ typical about Oprah’s deposit.
“What did you go to the bank for?” Ellen asked. “To deposit a million dollars…I stood in line…just to do it. It felt fantastic! Actually, it was two million,” Oprah added.
Most fans would probably agree that a $2 million deposit is definitely worth standing in line for. Since Oprah’s big confession, fans have shared their reaction on social media and the responses are as you would expect. Fans are blown away over Oprah strolling to the bank just “for fun.”
So, Oprah Winfrey has not been to the bank since 1988. This being 29 years ago! 4 years before I was even born😰
