Earlier today, Tamar Braxton made headlines after details about her divorce filing were revealed. According to TMZ, its official that Tamar and Vince are going their separate ways. But in addition to the divorce filing, there are already details about the possibility of a heated custody battle.

Fighting For Logan:

Although the divorce filing was only reported hours ago, it looks like Tamar is already making her demands clear and she’s starting with their 4-year-old son, Logan. It has been reported that Tamar reportedly has no plans to share when it comes to Logan. The Braxton Family Values star reportedly wants full custody of their son, and it’s probably safe to say that won’t exactly be an easy feat when dealing with Vince. Tamar & Vince fans already know how the record label executive feels about his son so the singer’s custody demands will most likely lead to a custody battle. Reports suggest there’s “no love lost” but Logan is a deal breaker. Since it has also been reported that there’s no prenup they may be splitting assets.

A Disaster Waiting To Happen:

The latest details about their upcoming custody battle follow months of speculation about the possibility of a split. According to The Jasmine Brand, insiders close to the couple claim the divorce comes as no surprise as it was only a matter of time before they called it quits. Mutual friends from the couple’s “inner circle” recently shared details about their disagreements on major issues and their ongoing marital problems. “We knew it was coming for a long time. There were cracks in her marriage for years, but it just kept getting worse and worse.”

By now, most fans know Vince has been faced with financial problems over the past few months. In fact, Vince recently lost a big lawsuit and was ordered to pay millions to Sony Records. Insiders claim Vince’s financial woes have also added to their marital problems because Tamar was reportedly in the dark when it came to some of Vince’s business affairs. Tamar wasn’t aware of some of the business issues that Vince had. He doesn’t know how to manage money. One time their house almost went into foreclosure. She had no idea. One of her sisters found out, told Tamar and she took care of it.”

Over time, the two reportedly began to drift apart. “Outside of work, she didn’t want to socialize with him as much. She’d say, ‘he has his friends and I have mine’. Tamar didn’t want to be up under him anymore. She wanted more independence.”

Fans would probably like for things to end amicably but this divorce may get ugly. Hopefully, Tamar and Vince can handle the situation without things getting out of hand.
