Wendy Williams is always ruffling somebody’s feathers. Whether it’s a rude comment or harsh opinion about the happenings in someone else’s life, the former radio personality has been known to say things that spark controversy.

During her infamous “Hot Topics” segment, she’s known for discussing rumored details about people’s personal lives. While most celebrities could care less about Wendy Williams’ seemingly irritating statements, there’s one woman who refuses to stand for it. According to The Blast, Blac Chyna’s mom Tokyo Toni is looking to hit Wendy Williams’ pockets for her seemingly reckless statements.

Bizarre Reason?

It has been reported that Tokyo Toni has filed a $1 million lawsuit against Wendy Williams for defamation of character. Apparently, Tokyo Toni claims Wendy Williams has destroyed her life due to lies she allegedly spread on her show. Tokyo Toni, whose real name is Shalana Jones-Hunter, insists her life has been “compromised due to [Williams’] lies.” As a result of the controversy, Toni claims she’s no facing a “lifetime of pain and suffering,” because she was forced to quit her jobs with Uber and Lyft because of Wendy. “I am highly depressed and my blood pressure is up,” she complained.

Tokyo Toni claims she’d taken to social media on several occasions and demanded that Wendy Williams refrain from discussing her or any aspects of her personal life, but to no avail. Now, she’s going a step further in hopes of making Wendy suffer consequences for her refusal to back off.

If the lawsuit itself isn’t bizarre enough, it’s also been reported that Tokyo Toni is representing herself. No one knows how this lawsuit will turn out or if Wendy will be ordered to pay up. But its probably safe to say Wendy’s legal team will probably prevail in the end. It should be interesting to see how this fiasco turns out.
