By now, everyone knows all about Steve Harvey’s relationship with Donald Trump. Shortly after Trump won the presidency, he started befriending influential African-Americans under the guise of creating better opportunities for the impoverished, inner city Black communities across the United States.

Although Steve was dragged for supporting and defending Trump by insisting he has everyone’s best interest at heart, many people argue Trump may be keeping his ‘promises,’ but they definitely aren’t in the best interest of the country. But, once again, Steve is speaking out about Trump, but this time he had an interesting response when asked about his perspective on the president’s so-called progress, thus far…

Broken Promises?:

TMZ recently caught up with Steve and asked him if he believes Trump is keeping his promises where affordable housing is concerned. In a nutshell, Steve believes Trump is fulfilling the personal promise he made to him. “Well, I mean as far as doing he promised me to do. He’s doing it. I’m working with HUD. I’m going to get some housing for underprivileged people,” Harvey stated.

When asked if he was happy with the overall success of Trump’s presidency, Steve had an interesting answer. In fact, he  actually chuckled and said, “I didn’t say that. All I said was he’s keeping his word to what he said he would do…” Harvey replied.

Skeptical Much?:

Even when Steve spoke so highly of Trump, claiming everyone was verbally persecuting the man without being open-minded enough to give him a chance, everyone pretty much knew it wouldn’t be long before the carefully worded backpedaling would come. Although most of us have still got love for Harvey, it’s clear to see that he’s probably realizing that he may have put the horse before the carriage in regards to speaking so soon on his support of Trump’s ‘we are the world’ intentions. So, is Steve skeptical about Trump’s presidency now? It appears that way, but only time will tell whether or not Steve supports Trump throughout his entire presidency. We’ll keep y’all posted on that one.
