Horshack Of ‘Welcome Back Kotter’ Died SAME Year As His Co-Star From THIS
Many of us old schoolers could never forget the Welcome Back Kotter” character, “Arnold Horshack” played by Ron Palillo. “Horshack” was part of the ‘Sweathogs’ crew in “Mr. Kotter’s” class and his character cracked us up to no end back in the day – every time he laughed that weird laugh, or when he would hit “Mr. Kotter” with the “Ooh, Ooh Ooh!” while raising his hand to get “Kotter’s” attention if he thought he knew the answer to something in class. All of it was “Horshack’s” signature style that no other actor would have been better suited for other than Palillo. Although reminiscing about those “Kotter” episodes brings back some incredible old school memories, many we all were saddened and many others never even knew that Palillo passed away in 2012.
