If y’all thought BBD was only about hip smoothed out on an R&B tip with a pop feel, appeal to it,’ think again. Bell, Biv, DeVoe are about to go country for y’all one time…don’t take our word for it though, just ask Ricky Bell a.k.a. “Slick.”

Ricky was stopped in the LAX airport by TMZ photogs and asked about their recent collabo with the country singer, Lady Antebellum, on Jimmy Kimmel Live Show. BBD and Antebellum must have done a helluva job on the show and afterwards, many country fans couldn’t stop talking about ‘that hip hop group, BBD,’ that had just been introduced to them as if they were a new group fresh from an of an audition inside an A&R’s office or something, LOL.

Anywho, Rick is now saying that there will in fact be a BBD and Lady Antebellum collaboration or supergroup of some sort. But let’s not expect Ronnie, Mike, and ‘Slick’ to start rockin’ cowboy boots and hats anytime soon though. Ricky says they won’t compromise who they are as a hip hop/R&B group, they’ll just meet Antebellum in the middle and let them do what they do best, while BBD does the same.
