Katherine Jackson’s Nephew Makes Odd Request To Prove He’s Not Abusing Her

Katherine Jackson leaves the rented Holmby Hills home of her late son, music legend Michael Jackson after his recent death, in Los Angeles on June 28, 2009. The family of Michael Jackson is to hold an independent autopsy, it emerged, as associates revealed their anger over unanswered questions surrounding the tragic pop icon's death. Jackson's family members were huddled at their compound in the northern Los Angeles suburb of Encino, where they have been based since the most famous member of their clan died suddenly on Thursday at age 50. Katherine Jackson’s elderly abuse case has taken another turn. This time it’s coming from the side of the accused- her nephew, Trent Lamar Jackson. Apparently he wants to attempt to prove his innocence so he can remain an employee of Katherine, the woman who is actually claiming he abused her. He also wants to remain living underneath her roof if he can prove his innocence.

This is tad bit weird, because regardless of if Trent can ‘prove’ his innocence or not, his aunt still wants him to leave her home and her business affairs. Anywho, check out Trent’s reported plan and who he’s asking to step in so that he can remain with Katherine, as her driver, her caretaker, and her permanent house guest:

Via TMZ: Katherine Jackson’s fate and fortune may lie in the hands of one of her grandsons … TMZ has learned. Trent Jackson, Michael’s cousin, wants TJ Jackson, Michael’s nephew, to decide who’s the victim and who’s the villain in what has become a family war…Katherine has filed a legal doc claiming Trent has committed elder abuse against her… […] We’ve now learned Trent and his lawyer, Ron Rale, have a plan to put the dispute to bed and, at the same time, cast suspicion on the motive of other Jackson relatives.

Trent wants to sit down with TJ — the one person whose family loyalty has never been challenged — and let him decide if he’s done Katherine dirty. Trent also wants TJ to sit with Katherine and then make a decision. If TJ believes Trent has done harm to Michael’s mom, he’ll leave for good. Trent, we’re told, believes TJ will not only absolve him of any wrongdoing, in the process he will cast doubt on the motives of other family members … family members he believes are trying to get him out of the way so they have a clear path to the matriarch’s bank account.

It’s also being reported that some of the family members are supposedly on edge, because aside from Michael Jackson’s three children, 87 year old Katherine is the only family member who gets a monthly stipend from his estate. Apparently when she passes away, the rest of MJ’s earnings will be divvied up among the kids and charities. Not sure what’s up with all of that, but only time will tell.

Bottom line is, Mama Katherine still wants dude out of her home and her personal life, so it doesn’t look like Trent’s plan is gonna be of much use to him as far as Katherine is concerned.
