Kenneka Jenkins: Disturbing Autopsy Results For Teen Finally Revealed
Kenneka Jenkins death has been the topic of heated debates all over social media due to the mysterious circumstances leading up to the moment she was discovered. After reports surfaced about the teen’s body being found inside a deserted walk-in freezer at the Crowne Plaza O’Hare Hotel, social media users immediately began raising questions about the situation as it seemed nearly impossible for Kenneka to have locked herself inside the freezer. The hotel released the hotel’s surveillance footage in an effort to offer transparency about the situation, but to no avail. In fact, the footage actually made things worse. Now, Kenneka Jenkins autopsy results have been released and it reveals a number of disturbing details about the drugs she’s allegedly taken that night.
The Autopsy Report:
According to CBS News Chicago, Kenneka Jenkins’ death has been ruled an accident. The medical examiner’s report has also been released and it explains a number of details about Jenkins’ death. With a blood alcohol level of 0.112, Kenneka was considered legally drunk at the time of her death. Sadly, the report also indicates that the teen had taken a number of drugs in conjunction with alcohol. The medical examiner explained the impact of these drugs when taken with alcohol.
“Ethanol and topiramate intoxication were significant contributing factors” to her death, the report states. “Topiramate, like alcohol, can cause dizziness, impaired memory, impaired concentration, poor coordination, confusion and impaired judgment,” the medical examiner revealed per CBS News Chicago. “Central nervous system depression or impairment, combined with cold exposure, can hasten the onset of hypothermia and death.”
Any Foul Play?
For those who have viewed the surveillance footage, the autopsy findings may explain why the teen appeared so disoriented in the hotel. But there are still a few unanswered questions that still raise concerns. Was Kenneka Jenkins drugged? Where were her friends while she was wondering around the hotel? Why were there no other people, such as hotel patrons or passersby, ever seen on the surveillance footage? Why is there no footage that shows her walking into the freezer?
Unfortunately, the examination doesn’t determine whether or not foul play was involved. For many people, there is still speculation that Kenneka Jenkins may have been drugged by some of the people who were inside the hotel room with her, however, no one has been in connection with her death.
