Beyonce’s really brought the term ‘Go hard, or go home’ to life today, as she stepped into her 36th rotation around the sun. Bey’s birthday falls on this lovely Labor Day (Sept. 4th, 2017) and in honor of the woman who is now seasoned enough to be considered a living legend in the music game, many of her celebrity friends and relatives saluted her on her big day.

One of her friends, is former first lady (who will actually always be considered the first lady in my eyes), Michelle Obama. Mrs. Obama, along  with several other superstars, recreated Beyonce’s look in her “Formation” video. She rocked an all black outfit, with a black dress and signature black wide brimmed hat to match. Michelle Obama has never made it a secret that she loves her some good R&B music and hip hop, so it was only natural for her to wanna show love to Beyonce.’

Beyonce also received a birthday shout out from her father, Matthew Knowles. He became overwhelmed with emotion as he stood in a hotel room balcony overlooking his ravaged city of Houston and reflecting on just how far his eldest child has come (see his tribute above).

Jay Z also wished Bey a happy birthday, by having a stadium packed crowd, where he was performing, collectively singe “happy Birthday” to her…awww.

How Beyonce’s Helping Her Houston Hometown

As Beyonce enjoys being a new mother all over again, with her twin newborns- son, Suri and daughter, Rumi, and of course her eldest child, Blue Ivy- she’s also not forgetting about her flood stricken hometown of Houston, TX. Beyonce’s donated what’s said to be a very large amount of money to Hurricane Harvey victims, by way of her church, headed by Pastor Rudy Rasmus. She’s also donated money through Greater Houston Community’s Foundation, as well as to her pastor’s non-profit organization, Bread of Life and to Texas Southern University, which was also flooded and in need of help for it’s students.
