New Edition’s Mike Bivins turned 49 on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Just one year away from his 50 year milestone, the N.E./BBD head honcho, celebrated his b-day with a whole lotta love around him.

First, a few of his N.E. brothers shouted him out on social media for all that they’ve been through together (after watching their biopic, we all know they’ve been through some crazy stuff together) and how much they appreciate him. In doing so, Ricky Bell brought up an eye-opening point, that in their young 49 years of life, they’ve already racked up 40 years of loyal friendship. Talk about a blessing! Even though they’ve had plenty of fights and arguments along the way -and according to them, they still are beefin’- somehow they continue to have genuine love for each other and that’s a beautiful thing.
