Listen up ILOSM family, Debbie Allen has just taught us something: that she’s still got it at 67 years young! Throughout the years, we’ve watched her get her dance on starting in 1982, on the hit TV series, Fame. And ever since she became a household name back then, she’s hit the ground with her feet running and never stopped. That probably explains her still in-tact agility, flexibility, and passion for the ‘sport’ she’s been teaching for decades.

A Throwback We’ll NEVER Forget

And of course we couldn’t end this without throwing back to one of the most classic Old School memories of Debbie guest starring on the Cosby Show with her big sis,’ Phylicia Rashad a.k.a. ‘Claire Huxtable’…

And just like the Old School saying goes, Debbie Allen is aging like fine wine and only getting better with time.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
