Snoop Dogg a.k.a. Calvin Broadus Jr. has been holding it down in the rap game for the past few decades and now it’s his daughter’s time to shine bright like a diamond in R&B.

We already knew a few things about Cori Broadus: (1) that she’s a beautiful young lady; (2) She’s Snoop’s and wife, Shante’s, youngest baby out of their three kids together; and (3) she’s a lupus warrior, having been diagnosed and winning against the disease since she was a very young child.

Snoop’s daughter, Cori Broadus

What many of us didn’t know though, is that homegirl has some SERIOUS singing skills! Cori posted video the other day, of herself and her friends, Mali Nicole and Sazi, singing their R&B version of Yo Gotti’s and Nicki Minaj’s current rap hit “Rake It Up.” Cori sat at the center of the ladies and got her sing on, shocking the hell outta many on her Instagram page. See the ladies do their thing below…

Proud Family

We’re sure Snoop and Shante are beyond proud of their baby girl, who ain’t so much of a baby anymore. She’s actually officially an adult at 18 years old and she recently gave her parents another proud moment.

Cori Broadus at her 2017 high school graduation

As we previously reported, Snoop and his fam’ had a ball at Cori’s high school graduation from Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts in Los Angeles in June 2017. The whole thing was caught on camera. See what we mean below…

After seeing the talented princess of the Broadus family sing her heart out, we’re pretty sure she’ll be giving her parents many more proud moments in the near future. Can’t wait to witness her musical journey.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
