We have very sad news to report ILOSM fam.’ Acting legend, Ron Glass, passed away on Friday (11-25-16) after a long battle with several different illnesses. He was 71 years young and best known for his roles as “Det. Ron Harris” in the sitcom, “Barney Miller,” and who could ever forget when he played the ‘blind encyclopedia hustler’ on “Good Times?” You may also know him from several other roles in shows and films such as “Sanford and Son,” “Lakeview Terrace,” “Death At A Funeral,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “All In The Family,” and many more…

REP GIVES DETAILS ON RON'S DEATH

Screen Shot 2016-11-27 at 9.45.38 AM Ron died at his home and had been under the watch of a caretaker for some time now due to his recently declining health. Here are the details of his death and what his rep has revealed:

Via TMZ: Glass' rep Jeffrey Leavitt tells TMZ ... "Ron passed late last night of respiratory failure. Ron was a private, gentle and caring man. He was an absolute delight to watch on screen. Words cannot adequately express my sorrow. "
