Fans couldn’t stop talking about the New Edition biopic. After the huge success of The New Edition Story, BET Networks has decided to bring new biopics to the network, including The Bobby Brown Story. The king is ready to tell his story.

Are You Ready To Learn More About The King?

Out of all the biopics that have been released, it seems that BET got it right. It’s no question that the The New Edition Story was one of the most talked-about television events of the year. Just when fans thought it was over, viewers will get another chance to have more insight about one of New Edition’s founding members and musical legend: Bobby Brown.

BET shared that they plan to drop another miniseries  that will focus on the life of Bobby Brown. Of course, just like the New Edition biopic, Bobby Brown is fully on board and will all set to tell his story of how he became the original R&B bad boy.

The biopic will be titled The Bobby Brown Story. It will air for two-nights and in total air for four hours (two hours per night). While much of Brown’s story has been shared, the series plans to focus on Bobby’s career as the 1980’s heartthrob, from his involvement with New Edition to him being crowned as the King of R&B by his late wife, Whitney Houston.

The same people that were behind the massively successful New Edition Story will also be behind Bobby’s project as well. Brown’s story will be written by Abdul Williams and executive produced by Jesse Collins. Are you excited? Well, can you believe that Bobby is!

I am so excited and looking forward to everybody experiencing the Bobby Brown Story,” he shared with BET. It will be shown through my eyes! I appreciate BET for teaming up with me and supporting my story. Get ready for an amazing journey!
