Richie Now Monitoring Daughter After Flirty Pics Surface Of Her w/Older Celeb’
We’ll kick this off with ‘That’s right Lionel Richie, watch ’em!’ Okay, now that we’ve put our two cents in, let us fill y’all in on what we’re talking about.
The other day, we reported that Lionel’s 18 year old daughter/model, Sofia Richie, was photographed on a yacht in the South of France, getting a lil’ touchy feely with the controversial 34 year old ex/baby daddy of Kourtney Kardashian. He is Scott Disick, the dude known for his wild, drunken, partying ways, who Kourtney reportedly has just blocked from seeing their two children until he gets clean and sober.

Well, Lionel clearly heard about the racy pics of his baby girl and Scott and apparently is like ‘Hell to the naw! Not on MY watch!’ We don’t know that to be 100% accurate, but so far, that’s what it appears to be. Why? Because soon after the news broke about that flirtatious yacht ride between Sofia and Scott, three things happened. First, Sofia tried to do a lil’ damage control on social media with this statement:
“Just so everyone can get their panties out of their a$$es, Scott and I are just homies.”

Then came Sofia’s reveal that her dad tracks her phone on the regular. She tweeted this message:
“My dad tracks my phone once a day. […] Awkwardly enough I get a notification every time. I think it’s funny so I don’t tell him I know.”
Then there was the Face-Time phone call with her Pops, Lionel, who made sure he knew what his daughter was up to at all times. As she yet again was spotted with Scott and other friends in France, their body contact was much more subdued, while she talked to her Pops, who could see everything in the background.

We should also consider this recent Instagram post of Lionel’s to be a subliminal message. It’s a photo of he and Sofia with no caption, just a set of eyes, get the hint?

Richie has admitted in the past, that he’s a cool dad, who has had to do very little disciplining of his kids throughout the years. However, we wish we could’ve been a fly on the wall for that Face-Time phone call with Sofia, because even the ‘coolest Pops’ will let their inner “James Evans” surface when it comes to an older cat lurking around their daughter. So again: That’s right Lionel, Richie, watch ’em!
