Sad, Actor Wendell Pierce Chokes Up After Losing Home In Louisiana Floods
Actor, Wendell Pierce, best known for his roles in “Waiting To Exhale,” “The Wire,” and HBO’s “Treme” series, was very emotional earlier today while speaking about losing his Baton Rouge, La. home on yesterday (Sunday, 8-15-16) in the massive Louisiana flooding that has caused over 20,000 residents to be rescued from the rising waters in the past few days. WENDELL PIERCE: "I LOST EVERYTHING"
"I don't know what I'll do," he said. "I just lost everything."It's Pierce's second time losing his home due to flooding, the first time was in Hurricane Katrina in 2005 when his New Orleans, La. childhood home was completely wiped out.
