ILOSM family, when we previously reported that Ginuwine’s ex-wife of 12 years/rapper, Sole,’ had gotten married on August 27th, 2017), there was one looming question that many were wondering: What does Ginuwine think ’bout this? Well folks, today is the day we’re about to find out.

In case you didn’t catch the big news, Sole’ (45) shocked the hell outta many when she jumped the broom with the new love of her life, Public Enemy’s Profressor Griff (58). After getting a divorce from Ginuwine in 2015 and starting a romantic relationship with Griff just last year on August 11th, 2016 (according to Sole’), her love life moved pretty quickly. However, Sole’s new marriage is just like Atlantic Starr sang back in the day, “when love calls you better answer.”

Sole’s Reveal About Ginuwine & Professor Griff

Now, back to Ginuwine’s thoughts on the mother of two of his five children marrying another celebrity. We did a lil’ diggin’ and were pleasantly surprised to see that the “Pony” singer is on his grown folks level, as it pertains to Sole’ and Professor Griff. Here is what Sole’ revealed on Instagram about her ex-husband and her now new husband:

Sole’s post about Ginuwine and Professor Griff

As we mentioned in prior reports, Sole’ says she’s loved Professor Griff ever since she was 15 years old when the met and became close friends…

Griff was too old for her at the time and then their love lives drifted toward different people as the years progressed.

You're All The Man That I Need… "I used to cry myself to sleep at night but that was all before he came… I thought love had to hurt to turn out right But now he's here… It's not the same, it's not the same… He fills me up… He gives me love More love than I've ever seen… He's all I've got.. He's all I've got in this world… But he's all the man that I need… And in the morning when I kiss his eyes He takes me down and rocks me slow… And in the evening when the moon is high He holds me close and won't let go He won't let go… He fills me up He gives me love More love than I've ever seen He's all I've got He's all I've got in this world But he's all the man that I need"✨✨✨✨ #9 #4life @professorgriff

Clearly though, Griff and Sole’ were in touch throughout the years, including the time Sole’ and Ginuwine were happily married. The below photo of the three of them chillin’ at the 2009 Soul Train Music Awards is a cool reminder of that…

Fast forward to today and it’s a beautiful thing to see pretty much the same level of happiness on all three of their faces, with two men respecting each other and the Queen they both love (in different ways) by managing their new family ties accordingly. A round of applause for Ginuwine and the new Mr. & Mrs. Professor Griff for taking the high road.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
