Taraji might be on to something with this one, because I think that Billy Dee and the Boss Ms. Ross would be a perfect fit to star together as “Cookie Lyon’s” parents…especially given the fact that Billy and Diana always had the type of on-screen chemistry that made you really believe they were a couple. It would be great to see them back on screen together representin’ the Old School like the true icons that they are. Only time will tell if Taraji’s (and our) wishes were heard once that new season of Empire kicks off….unless Taraji’s trying to tell us something…

By the way, who remembers this CLASSIC scene from Lady Sings The Blues when Billy Dee asked Diana Ross “You want my hand to fall off?” After that, almost every dude in America was trying to have swag like Billy…LOL. Reminisce with us on that one and check this clip out…
