This may be R.Kelly’s last straw. In case you’ve been trapped in a closet, R. Kelly is currently trending and it’s not because of  new music.  The ‘pied piper’ has social media on fire with the disturbing news that he might be running a sex cult of young women. Yesterday, we reported claims of two parents who are allegedly not able to contact their daughter because they say that R. Kelly “brainwashed” them. Not only are the parents of the 21 year old woman talking, but a few women who say they were once cool with the the Chicago crooner, are backing up the claims as well.

Apparently, the R&B singer keeps the women at his homes in Atlanta and Chicago dressed in jogging suits so they don’t show off their figures, according to three women claiming to once have been in his inner circle. They also alleged that the young women have to ask permission to leave the house, use the bathroom, and they must commit sexual acts while being filmed. What’s worse? According to the family of one of the women– whose mother introduced her to R.Kelly-  their contact with the outside world is limited and she claims they don’t even speak to their family members.

Since the news of Kelly’s alleged cult hit the internet, many on social media have been fueled with mostly outrage.

Many people brought up his past history of marrying Aaliyah when she was only 15 years old. According to The Chicago Sun-Times, Kelly was introduced to Aaliyah Haughton when she was 12 years old. They met through her uncle, Barry Hankerson, who was a veteran in the music industry. Aaliyah and R.Kelly were married by the Rev. Nathan J. Edmond of Chicago, according to the marriage certificate they filed with the Cook County Clerk. Kelly was 28 at the time, and Aaliyah was 15. In order to marry, however, Aaliyah lied about her age, signing the marriage certificate as an 18-year-old.

Kelly and Aaliyah tried to keep their marriage a secret, but word soon got out. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Aaliyah’s family was pissed when they learned the news, and demanded she get an annulment right away. Their marriage, and their subsequent working relationship, came to a close in 1995.

Aaliyah isn’t the only young woman whom R. Kelly has allegedly dated. Last year, reports surfaced that the 50 year-old singer was dating 19-year-old Halle Calhoun. Kellz was 49 at that the time. However, unlike the women in his alleged cult, R. Kelly didn’t keep his girlfriend hidden, they were often seen in public holding hands and they also allowed themselves to be photographed together at an Atlanta party. Three women claiming to be part of Kelly’s former entourage, allege one of the women at one of Kelly’s properties last summer was the 19-year-old model.

Kelly’s lawyer Linda Mensch spoke out on Kelly’s behalf by stating the following:

There were “folks” out to defame the artist. “We can only wonder why folks would persist in defaming a great artist who loves his fans, works 24/7, and takes care of all of the people in his life,” she said. “He works hard to become the best person and artist he can be. It is interesting that stories and tales debunked many years ago turn up when his goal is to stop the violence; put down the guns; and embrace peace and love. I suppose that is the price of fame. Like all of us, Mr. Kelly deserves a personal life. Please respect that.

His representative also spoke for him stating:

“Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.”

The 21 year old woman, whose parents sparked the media firestorm with their allegations, has now spoken it twice to TMZ to make it clear that she is not being held against her will by R. Kelly. It was also reported that police checked the situation and found no foul play, nor damage to the woman’s welfare as well. Here’s what she had to say…
