On Thursday, July, 21, 2016, Bobby Brown and his wife, Alicia Etheredge, welcomed their baby girl into this world. This is their 3rd child together (and Bobby’s 7th child). Bobby waisted no time posting an update on Instagram, grinning from ear to ear with excitement as he captioned the pic “Just had a baby girl 10 pounds.” *SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO*

Today (7-22) video footage surfaced of what Bobby did to celebrate his baby’s birth last night and let’s just say it is really cool to see the old Bobby B. back, even if only for this brief moment when he is clearly elated about his new baby. Hours after his daughter’s birth, Bobby left the hospital for a second to take a quick joyride around town, when he randomly drove by a Beverly Hills cafe. He heard the band playing and stopped in and started jammin’ with them, for an impromptu session of “My Girl” in honor of his baby girl.  Check out Bobby B. cuttin’ up last night…

After a piece of Bobby died, when he lost his beloved daughter, Bobbi Kristina, passed away in July of last year, it’s truly beautiful that for the first time in a LONG time, he seemed genuinely happy as a new extension of him was born with the birth of their new baby girl. Of course nothing can happen that will ever replace the loss and the grief Bobby will have forever though, but we just hope he can continue to manage his grief as best as he can for the sake of all of his children- his grown kids and his little ones.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
