Daddy’s Little Girl

Tiny’s beloved father, Charles Pope, peacefully passed away in 2013 at his College Park, Ga. home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 76. She was extremely close with her dad, who was also an original member of a popular R&B group based in Atlanta called the Tams.

The Tams (including Tiny’s father, Charle Pope) 70s hit, “Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy”. Tiny also posted a real throwback photo of her mom that caught everyone by surprise.

A few years ago, Tiny got a tribute tattoo (pictured above) on her back of a crown (which represents her husband T.I.), a heart (representing her dad) with surrounding flowers and inside the heart the words: “You don’t know what’s it’s like to love somebody the way I love you Daddy.”

Awareness To Alzheimer’s Disease

Tiny’s mom, Diane Cottle-Pope, was married to Tiny’s dad, Charles, for 30 years, up until his last day. She’s oftentimes featured on T.I. & Tiny’s Grans Family Hustle reality show. Diane and Tiny have worked diligently to raise funds for research on Alzheimer’s disease.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
