Uh Oh…Rick Ross Finally Fires Back At Birdman’s Warning

Posted On : October 13, 2017

By now, everyone knows all about the money problems between Birdman and Lil’ Wayne. For the past couple years, Birdman has developed a reputation of failing to pay people what they’re owed. After tons of hit records, platinum albums, and lots of extravagant purchases, unfortunately, Lil’ Wayne was also added to the list of people who Birdman is accused of not paying. But despite the allegations and their legal battle playing out in the media, Birdman is not here for everyone sharing their opinion of the whole ordeal. The Cash Money CEO recently released a PSA to fans, but there’s one person who wasn’t tryin’ to hear anything he has to say – Rick Ross.

Pay Up Or Shut Up:

Shortly after Birdman’s rant, the Boss Man Ricky Ross released a video response and took a few verbal jabs at the money man. According to Source magazine, the Maybach Music CEO had a brutally honest statement for Birdman. Since Birdman’s legal war with Wayne has been going on for so long, Rick Ross wants him to know he’s a day late and literally a dollar short for ranting about all of this now. Rick is also challenging Birdman to pay up or shut up. “Boy, you a year late and five years late paying that man his money,” he said. “Pay that man his money. We know you ain’t right. Stop with the jokes, n***a. Bring that sh**, baby. Bring it.”

Ross continued, “Have no fear. All that talkin’ shit, nah-uh, all that shit don’t work round here baby. We’ll put you in check n***a, we’ll put you somewhere else.”

Birdman’s Rant:

Rick Ross’ statement follows Birdman’s rant on Instagram rant. In a rare move, Birdman took to social media and addressed the situation, head on. He clapped back at the fans and critics who believe he should just pay Wayne his money. The “Fire Flame” rapper didn’t hold back but most fans still argue that he never really answered the question about whether or not he actually owes Wayne money. “On G though, right? I be hearing all you niggas talking about this Lil Wayne shit. Lil Wayne this, Lil Wayne that,” he says in the video. “B***h, Lil Wayne my son. I raised him. He ain’t had nothin’, and I brought him to be something, and he got some. B***h, you think I ain’t gonna make sure he straight? Suck a n***a d**k, b***h. I’m gonna show all you p***y n****s that got in my business, f**k you n***a. I’m gonna show you don’t play with me, n***a. I’m what you call a f**king real mastermind.”

The Cash Money millionaires made headlines when Wayne filed a lawsuit against the record label for $51 million. The two are still embroiled in a legal battle over the massive debt and it looks like Wayne will be fighting for quite some time.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
