Uh Oh..Tyrese Probably Won’t Be Happy w/What Tank Just Said To His Enemy, The Rock

Posted On : October 10, 2017

By now, almost everyone on social media knows Tyrese isn’t pleased with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. But for those who missed all of the drama, Tyrese was livid when he learned The Rock had accepted an offer to do a spinoff centered around his Fast and Furious character ‘Agent Luke Hobbs.’ So why would that matter to Tyrese? Well unfortunately, The Rock’s film will lead to a year-long delay in the release of the ninth installment of the Fast and Furious.

To Tyrese, The Rock made a selfish decision by leaving the Fast and Furious cast out in the cold and fans waiting longer than they should have had to. Tyrese and other Fast and Furious stars have also thrown shade at The Rock, but there’s one R&B singer standing with the former WWE wrestling star – Tank, as in Tyrese’s former TGT group member. In fact, Tank recently made a public request of The Rock and it will probably piss Tyrese off even further.

Tank And The Rock Joining Forces?:

Although there’s no confirmation of any moves being made yet, it looks like Tank wants to join forces with The Rock. Tank recently posted a shirtless photo of himself on Instagram and the caption included a message to The Rock. He asked his fans to get the message out to The Rock that he’d like to audition for the new ‘Hobbs’ movie. “Somebody tell @therock that I’m ready for the #Hobbs movie RIGHT NOW!! Cast a real SAVAGE! Thanks for your consideration!.. #SAVAGEALBUM OUT NOW! LINK IN MY BIO.. p.s. I’ll let you guys cook up the beef while I just focus on expanding my horizons as an actor! There’s enough room for all us contrary to what you believe!..”

We all know Tyrese and Tank haven’t been on good standing ever since their TGT falling out, but both of those cats are talented singers/actors. So, Tank could really be trying to “expand his horizon” as an actor. But because of the current tension between Tank, Rock and Tyrese, some of Tank’s  fans think Tank might have had a petty moment. However, that doesn’t mean he won’t get the audition he’s hoping for. Surprisingly, The Rock has responded to Tank and it looks like he just might have a shot.

The Rock commented, “We see u brother @theRealTank. Iron beast! It been very cool to see so many texting me to join our spinoff and have fun. #HobbShaw.” Of course, Tank replied, “Having a real fan moment at the moment guys! @therock spoke on my request! If it goes no further than this God I’m thankful..??. Blessing to you brother..??”

The Rock Claps Back:

The latest news about Tank follows The Rock’s recent clap back at all of the hate he’s received since the spinoff was announced. Although the Scorpion King actor didn’t say any names, it looks like there is a strong possibility his words may have been for Tyrese and his other Fast and Furious co-stars. According to Too Fab, The Rock recently took to Instagram to thank Universal Studios for the opportunity he’s been given to do the spinoff. But he also had a message for the “candy asses” who he feels are attempting to stop others from having opportunities to join the massive platform.

“Thank you UNIVERSAL STUDIOS for being tremendous partners who see the big picture and for coming to us years ago with this spinoff idea. Huge shout to my brother, Jason Statham for the trust and wanting to create and deliver something fresh and bad ass for the fans,” he wrote. “I have a tremendous amount of respect for this franchise that I’ve enjoyed droppin’ blood and sweat in over the years and my vision is to create greater opportunities for not only my fellow FF castmates, but for other amazing actors as well who want to be a part of something new and cool.”

The Rock continued:

“I want to use my spinoff platform to create new characters that fans will ultimately love to have fun with in multiple chapters and platforms,” he continued. “Film, TV, Digital, Virtual Reality etc.. the more opportunities we can create the better for the fans. Smart business. Let’s have some FUN and to quote, Hobbs the boss, if you don’t like it, we’re happy to beat that ass like a Cherokee drum,” he added along with the hashtag #CandyAssesNeedNotApply.”

Based on The Rock’s intention for the spinoff platform, Tank may be a great candidate for the new film. So, its definitely going to be interested to see how this turns out.
