[VIDEO] R. Kelly Speaks Out About Robbery & His Very Close Relationship w/The Suspects

Posted On : December 10, 2017

A couple days ago, we reported about R. Kelly’s Georgia homes being ransacked. Now, the Grammy Award-winning singer is sharing his reaction to the disheartening situation. For the first time since the incident happened, R. Kelly recently took to social media to speak about the incident and share footage of his ransacked home. However, the situation actually gets worse. Apparently, the guys who robbed the home were people he’s known for more than 25 years.

Absolutely Devastated:

On Saturday, December 9, R. Kelly shared footage from the inside of his homes on Old Homestead Trail and Saints Devon Crossing on the outskirts of Atlanta, GA. While sharing footage of the empty home, he explained what happened. “They basically done cleaned out my whole house. I thank all my fans for their support.” He continued, “That’s what happens when you get … well, let people too close to you… People you’ve known 25, 35 years. This is what happens.”

But, R. Kelly refuses to let the situation get him down. He just plans to keep it movin’. “It’s all love though. Imma keep my head up, keep working on this album.”

It has been reported that the Johns Creek Police Department is looking for 50-year-old Alfonso L. Walker, an associate of R. Kelly. On Nov. 26, the maid arrived to clean the home and noticed furniture and electronics were missing. She, then, contacted the house manager who, in turn, called the police. Then on Nov. 27, residents in Saints Devon Crossing contacted police when they saw mysterious men removing furniture and other items from that home. According to the police report, officers confirmed that home was nearly empty when they were dispatched to investigate. Walker is accused of selling several of the singer’s stolen items to the highest bidder. He was supposed to turn himself into police on Tuesday, December 5, but failed to do so. He is now facing several felony charges in connection with the robbery.

The home is one of two that R. Kelly rents in the Atlanta area.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
