When it comes to Hollywood, there’s always one scandal or another. But the latest celebrity facing a paternity scandal is one you don’t hear about often – Tyler Perry. Yes, you read that right. Tyler Perry is the latest celebrity to have a woman come forward claiming he fathered her child. But it’s not as cut and dry as most fans would probably assume. This isn’t the typical situation with a celebrity being accused having some sort of one night stand with a woman or cheating on their spouse and having a love child. The woman, in question, has a bizarre claim that will leave you scratching your head.

Paternity Drama:

The woman recently appeared on Dr. Phil and in the clip released, she outwardly accused the famed film producer of raising her son without her. “I believe that Tyler Perry is raising my son,” she said. She also shared a few details about her alleged relationship. As expected, the audience looked on in utter shock and confusion, but then things got a bit more outrageous. The woman claims she’s also married to Perry but has “not seen him face to face.” The bizarre episode of Dr. Phil is set to air in February but the new clip confirms that you just can’t make this stuff up.

The Real Deal:

It’s unclear how the woman came to such a bizarre conclusion, but apparently, she believes its true. Despite what she says, Tyler Perry has been dating Ethiopian-born model and social activist Gelila Bekele since 2009. The two have one son together, Aman Tyler Perry. On November 30, 2014, Bekele gave birth to their son.

At the time, an insider told US Weekly how excited the couple were about the birth of their son. “They are totally and completely excited, and really looking forward to their first holiday with their son,” a source told the publication. “Everybody is happy and healthy.” So, you can probably understand why Dr. Phil’s audience was so confused. But nevertheless, the upcoming episode should be interesting to watch. Right now, it is unclear whether or not the woman plans to take legal action against Tyler Perry.
