Her performance was very anticipated and exciting as this was her first performance since announcing that she is pregnant and expecting twins with her husband, Jay Z.

Dressed as a royal Goddess, it was hard to look away at the beautiful, golden dress that she wore with a dazzling crown. Not only was she glowing because of her gown but she had a motherly glow as she proudly displayed her pregnant belly.

Actress and singer Vanessa Williams took to Instagram to share how the Grammy’s have changed over the years. Apparently, Williams performed on a Grammy Award show when she was pregnant, however, her pregnant belly was not shown on camera.

Back at the #Grammys 1993, they never showed my pregnant belly while I was singing my multi-award nominated “Save the Best for Last” — Oh how times have changed for #Beyoncé! Kudos! 💋 #Progress

One of Williams’ followers responded to her comment by pointing out that she was throwing shade at Queen Bey. Williams responded that she was not throwing shade but applauding the progress of the Grammy’s.

Another follower informed Williams that she wasn’t Beyoncé.

While both performances were different, both ladies were beautiful and delivered phenomenal performances.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
