Wendy Williams Changes Story…Reveals Real Reason She Fainted On Air Last Week

Posted On : November 6, 2017

By now, everyone has probably seen or heard about Wendy’s fainting spell, when she passed out on air during The Wendy Williams Show last week. For those who missed that, Wendy Williams set social media ablaze after the fainting clip went viral on multiple social media networks. But despite the unexpected health scare, Wendy still hasn’t missed a beat. Of course, she’s addressed the elephant in the room the following day, but now she’s revealed the real reason for her fainting, reports The Jasmine Brand and it’s a totally different reason from the first one she offered.

Hot Flashes:

Apparently, the 53-year-old talk show host has revealed she’s going through menopause. She admits she was “scared to death” when it happened, because her body temperature changed so quickly. So, it looks like Wendy had a hot flash despite her prior claim that paramedics declared dehydration was the reason for her fainting.

“I got hot. I was dehydrated according to the paramedics. I’m a woman of a particular age. I’m also going through menopause.”

Still Concerned:

Although Wendy has made a full recovery, she’s admitted she was still concerned about the fall itself. “I was more concerned with when I fall, am I going to crack my skull? And the crew and the security here thought that the bug-eyed look I gave was part of a stunt, cause I’m always doing tricks.” However, to Wendy, there is a silver lining. Despite the relentless jokes and memes circulating on social media, Wendy admitted she was surprised so many people were concerned about her well being. She went on to discuss her support system. “More people were concerned about me than I actually thought that they would be.”

Hopefully, Wendy doesn’t have another hot flash on air, since she’ll probably be dealing with menopause for a while.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
