Xscape BACK TOGETHER After 18 Years! See The DRAMA They’ve JUST Squashed Tho

What I need from you is understaaaanding…yep, that seems to be what all four original members of the 90’s group, Xscape, have said to each other and accomplished somewhere along the line. Today (2-28-17) Kandi Burruss, LaTocha Scott, Tamika Scott, and Tameka “Tiny” Harris announced that they were official BACK together on the Big Tigger radio show in Atlanta.

In case y’all didn’t know, this is what their fans have been waiting for, BUT because they were like the female version of New Edition- as far as drama, backstabbing, and fist fights go- they could barely stand to be in the same room with each other for longer than 45 seconds, let alone even think about singing together.

Well, apparently they’re singing a different tune today because they’ve suddenly found a way to let bygones be bygones and will be giving us some REAL female R&B group magic once again.

The ladies of Xscape admitted to Big Tigger that seeing all of the love New Edition has gotten from their millions of loyal fans after the The New Edition Story BET biopic released, inspired them to get outta their feelings and give their loyal fans what they deserve as well.

Kandi told Big Tigger this: “I’m not even gon’ lie to you, watching the New Edition Story, it definitely made me sit and think about our legacy as a group. And you know, we actually decided to have a real conversation and really talk to each other…it’s been at least 18 years [since they did an interview together as a group].”

Geesh! So it looks like the hold out was Kandi, and until she was able to forgive her group members for doing her dirty (not Tiny), it wasn’t happening. See details on that below…

Lawd knows Xscape had enough drama for a biopic of their own (but that’s a whole ‘notha story) and they’ve never received their full just due because of it, in my opinion. They couldn’t stand each other long enough to make that happen.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
