Kandi’s DAUGHTER Makes Decision To RECONNECT w/Absentee DAD & Kandi REACTS!

Posted On : February 7, 2017

Former Xscape singer, Kandi Burruss, just shocked the hell out of her fans by doing something totally unexpected with her baby daddy, Block. If you’re a fan of Real Housewives of Atlanta, you may know about the drama between Kandi and Block. For those who don’t know, on the show Kandi called Block a “deadbeat dad” for abandoning their 14 year old daughter, Riley, many years ago; Riley showed how hurt she was by his absence and unfulfilled promises; and Block had a major phone argument with Kandi after showing zero remorse for his absence, by stating that he was “not fitna’ chase behind” his own daughter whom he walked away from a long time ago. Then Block got obliterated online by angry fans. Fast forward to today and things are looking a lil’ different now. See what they just shared below…

MIXED REACTIONS FROM KANDI'S & BLOCK'S FANS

Absentee parents don't necessarily deserve a round of applause for suddenly deciding to be a parent to their child, because that's their responsibility - not a choice. However, it's still great (just not handclap appropriate) that Block seems to be making a genuine attempt to become a better person, by making better decisions for his child. Yet another beautiful example that it is never too late for a distant parent to try to mend relationships with their children. As long as you have breathe, you have a shot.
