The cast of Moesha has had its shares of ups and downs, with cast members dying tragically and even facing jail time. Now, news has surfaced that one of the cast members of the 90’s show is allegedly abusing her grandchild.

Shocking Allegations:

Chris Massey, the former child actor from the What? Former Nickelodeon TV show,  Zoey 101, made some disturbing allegations towards former Moesha star, Shar Jackson. According to TMZ, Massey claims that Jackson physically abused his 2 year-old daughter. Massey wants court order protection because he claims that Jackson left a gash on his daughter’s face. In case you didn’t know, Massey is dating  Cassilay Jackson, who is Shar Jackson’s daughter. The couple has one child together, daughter Mariah. Massey requested and was granted a temporary restraining order last week against Shar. Court documents revealed that Chris dropped Mariah off to spend time with her mother and grandmother in May. It’s unclear if he has full custody of Mariah.

Massey claims that when he went to pick Mariah up, he noticed that she had a 4-inch “razor cut” across her forehead. He says his daughter, Mariah, blamed ‘grandma Shar.’ Chris says he confronted Shar, but claims she allegedly said she intended to “do whatever she wants.” A judge granted Chris’ request, ordering Shar to stay at least 50 yards away from the kid.

Last year, Massey was arrested for domestic violence. Apparently, he was partying in Vegas with his girlfriend/mother of his child, Cassilay Jackson, at Marquee Club at Cosmo. Massey allegedly pushed her to the ground. He was arrested and booked for misdemeanor domestic violence. Massey later cleared up the domestic violence allegations by stating that security guards jumped to conclusions after seeing Jackson and Massey argue. He alleges that in the midst of their argument, Cassilay fell and security guards assumed that he pushed her. Cassilay did not press charges.

Shar Jackson has yet to respond to the allegations that she abused her granddaughter, but little Mariah sure is a cutie. Take a look at a video of Mariah and her dad, Chris Massey below.
