the Bravo TV reality show, Shahs of Sunset and her name is Asa Rahmati. Just like that old school Billy Paul song, Jermaine Jr. and Asa have had a “thing going on” since 2010, so it must be serious. Their relationship was secret for a few years, but Jermaine Jr. eventually made a couple appearances on the show with her. In case you’re not familiar with her or the show, she is from a Persian Muslim family and she’s the down-to-earth artist and owner of the bottled water company, Diamond Water. Shahs of Sunset is centered around a group of well-off friends, living in Beverly Hills who juggle their many businesses and social lives at the same time.

Will they be jumping the broom any time soon? Only time will tell, but Asa did say they’re in a very “happy space.”

Now back to Jermaine Jr. He’s the product of music royalty because he’s the grandson of Katherine and Joe Jackson and also Berry Gordy. If you’re wondering where he’s been hiding, keep trying to figure that out, because he’s a very behind-the-scenes type of dude, but every now and then you can catch photos of him out with his lady, his Dad, or his family. You probably remember that he played his Dad, Jermaine Sr., in the TV film The Jacksons: The American Dream (1992) and he was also in Michael Jackson’s anthology film, Moonwalker (1988), and in The Jackson’s: A Family Dynasty reality show a in 2009.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
