Whoa! Ex BoyzIIMen Singer Tells Why He Has NOTHING To Say To Ex Group Members
Remember Michael McCary, the famed bass singer from Boyz II Men? The legendary quartet seemed like the best of friends with their nearly perfect vocal blend, but behind closed doors, the group was anything but perfect. In fact, the singer has even reached out to Iyanla Vanzant to help with his abandonment issues…
"If I have to sum up what I got from my brothers in Boyz II Men, I would have to say betrayal, a broken bond,” said McCary. "I mean, at this point, we don’t even talk,” he said.
What Happened:Back in January, we reported details about Michael's estranged relationship with his former group members. He shared his side of the story revealing money was a major issue that led to their fallout. Although most fans would probably assume their earnings would have been split four ways, Michael has revealed that definitely wasn't the case.
“For four years…I’ve been working out my body to get my health right, to get my body right…get my mind right. It’s time to just go ‘head and move forward. The initial thing was we were supposed to do a reunion a couple years back and it all came down to money. It all came down to the fellas wanted to split three ways, instead four ways and wanted to pay me basically like a baggage handler. And it just…just didn’t make sense to me.”Hopefully, now, Michael can move forward and put the past behind him. Part 1 of House of Healing: Fix a Black Man’s Heart premiered on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 9pm EST. The next two installments will air on November 5th and 12th at 9pm EST.
