So after Chris Rock stood in front of The Oscar Awards audience and took jabs at Will Smith and his wife/actress, Jada Pinkett-Smith, for their refusal to attend and/or watch the awards show this year as a result of the high level of discrimination against minorities, Will resurfaced the very next day, looking like he ain’t bothered one bit by Chris’ antics.

During his Oscars monologue, Chris Rock included these jabs at Will and Jada:

“It’s not fair that Will Smith was this good in ‘Concussion and didn’t get nominated. It’s also not fair that Will was paid $20 million for ‘Wild Wild West!”

And also…

“Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties. I wasn’t invited! It’s not an invitation I would turn down,” Rock said.

The following day after the Oscars aired on TV, Will walked through the streets of NYC, where he is filming his new movie, Collateral Beauty, and is probably making another 20 mil’ just like the previous payday Rock took jabs at him about.

Will was smiling from ear to ear, shaking hands with folks, and taking selfies with them. They say that one of the best forms of revenge is to kindly kill your haters with success and right now Will has an additional 20 million ways to do just that. Hopefully one day Chris, Will, and Jada can have a sit down about this to gain a better understanding of each other. There are only a handful of them at the top of the food chain, so the last thing we need is for the world to sit back and witness that very small collection of people beefing with one another like they’re on a Drake vs. Meek Mill mixtape. They’re all classy individuals though, so we’re pretty sure this whole Chris Rock Oscars monologue thing will fly over soon with all three of them…hopefully.
