AL JARREAU WROTE “SUSAN’S SONG” FOR WIFE

Al’s song, “Susan’s Song” was written as a tribute to his wife. In a prior interview with Rock Around The World, he stated this about it:

“You know, I’m really happy that so many people like that song. I wrote it for my wife, Susan. She’s my saving grace.”

SUSAN WAS ALSO ILLUSTRATOR

Susan was an artists who actually illustrated the drawing for the back cover of her husband’s 1978 album, All Fly Home.
