[su_quote cite=”DeadSpin” url=”http://deadspin.com/”]I meet Ms (Redacted) in Las Vegas. She meets me back stage. I give her Quaaludes. We then have sex. I do not I can’t judge at this time what she knows about herself for 19 years, a passive personality.[/su_quote]

If you recall both Camille and Phylicia had some strong words in support of Bill Cosby;

[su_quote]”I met my husband, Bill Cosby, in 1963, and we were married in 1964. The man I met, and fell in love with, and whom I continue to love, is the man you all knew through his work,” she begins. “He is a kind man, a generous man, a funny man, and a wonderful husband, father and friend. He is the man you thought you knew. “A different man has been portrayed in the media over the last two months. It is the portrait of a man I do not know. It is also a portrait painted by individuals and organizations whom many in the media have given a pass. There appears to be no vetting of my husband’s accusers before stories are published or aired. An accusation is published, and immediately goes viral.”

“We all followed the story of the article in Rolling Stone concerning allegations of rape at the University of Virginia. The story was heart-breaking, but ultimately appears to be proved to be untrue,” she says. “Many in the media were quick to link that story to stories about my husband — until that story unwound.

“None of us will ever want to be in the position of attacking a victim,” she concludes. “But the question should be asked — who is the victim?”[/su_quote]

So now, fast forward to today, and Twitter is flooded with folks calling out Rashad and Cosby. Here’s a tweet from @amaditalks, which states, “Phylicia Rashad looks like even more of a fool right now with all her simpering about “Mr. Cosby.” SMH”

Blogger @afrobella added Debbie Allen to her comments with, “Sitting here thinking about Debbie Allen and Phylicia Rashad. Women whose work I love, who have inspired me. What statements will they make?”

So now we wait? We have not choice, but imagine the conclusions, opinions, judgement and changes in ideas and beliefs about these women, that will happen in the meantime. Much like what happened when Bill Cosby was silent when his accusers began to come forward. Once Rashad and Mrs. Cosby came forward, they entered the public arena and are now included in this very public case, which means that they too have diminished the zone of privacy that they are entitled to.
