TLC

By now, most TLC fans have heard all about the crowd-funded album T-Boz and Chili are planning to release. For those who missed it, the ladies found themselves at the center of controversy over a Kickstarter campaign they launched to raise money to record the next TLC album. According to Bossip, the ladies raised a staggering $430,000 for the album and promised fans the project would be complete by mid-October of 2015. But unfortunately, the album never came to fruition which raised speculation about misappropriation of funds. But, TLC has major news for fans. Although the album was delayed, it will be delivered. Now, there is an official date.

The Big Date:

It has been reported that T-Boz announced the release date last night via Instagram. With a post of the album cover, she included a caption that read, “Self Titled Album #TLC and Cover Artwork! Due June 30th.” So, it looks like the wait is almost over.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
