Xscape Just Reunited, But Here’s Why They’re On The Verge Of Falling Apart Again

Posted On : November 3, 2017

The ladies of Xscape haven’t even been reunited a full year and, unfortunately, it looks like things are already coming apart at the seams. According to People magazine, two of the ladies are already at odds and it’s reportedly taking a toll on their efforts to revitalize the group. Apparently, Kandi Burruss and Tameka “Tiny” Harris aren’t seeing eye-to-eye and their latest bout could lead to the group disbanding again.

Kandi v. Tiny?:

Although fans may find it difficult to believe, Kandi and Tiny are actually the reason for the latest Xscape rivalry. According to Celebrity Insider, Xscape’s new reality series will show highlights of the latest drama between the ladies of Xscape. Apparently, there was one member of the group who, initially, wasn’t exactly thrilled about the reunion. One of the new clips released captures a disagreement between Kandi and Tiny. It looks like Kandi wasn’t onboard in the beginning. In fact, Kandi seemed a bit annoyed with Tiny for signing her up for a reunion she didn’t exactly agree to.

“I’m not comfortable yet!” Kandi said of her frustration toward Tiny. “I told her I do not want to engage in anything too deep with the girls unless I am comfortable.”

Later in the clip, Kandi and Tiny sat down for a one-on-one and things got pretty tense. “You are frustrating me right now,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta star later yelled at Tiny. “Everything that we discussed, you are totally changing. I said I didn’t know how I feel about us joining our names on a company yet because I didn’t know how I feel about us definitely doing business yet. Don’t you think before y’all made a decision to come up with this company that y’all came up with that y’all just put my name on a company? Who just puts somebody’s name on a company?”

But Tiny wasn’t havin’ it. “I’ve been said I want to do shows. I’ve told you that,” she shouts back. “Kandi, either you in or you out. What you want to do? Are you in or are you out?”

Still Kickin’ It Or Not?:

The latest news follows the release of reports about their upcoming Bravo reality series, Still Kickin’ It. The ladies have spent many years apart so the show will reportedly shed light on what caused their breakup. When asked what really happened, Tiny admitted there are many different sides to the story. “To be honest with you there are four different stories of why we think the group broke up,’ she revealed. “I’ll say that we had a lot of outsiders and people that came in and maybe influenced the ways and directions that weren’t normal for us, and it tore the group up.”

Of course, fans are thrilled about seeing the ladies again but apparently, things aren’t going very well. During a recent interview, Tiny also admitted that preparations for The Great Xscape Tour aren’t going well either. “Rehearsals are really scarce. We’ve been having problem after problem; I must say,” she said. “Whether it’s looking for a band or getting the show list set together, it’s a lot going on, and it’s pretty stressful for us right now.”

Hopefully, the ladies can pull it together for the fans. Only time will tell how this reunion really turns out.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
