Congrats: Nivea’s Ex, The Dream, Welcomes 9th Child After Wife’s Terrifying Delivery
A major congratulations are in order for singer/producer, The Dream, and his wife, Lalonne, right about now. They welcomed a new baby girl, who is currently still in the hospital after the rough journey she had to take to get here. Nevertheless, she made here, and is now being cared for by devoted medical staff to get her to her healthiest state.
The Dream -who shares children with singer, Nivea and Christina Millian- and his wife welcomed his 9th child on May 6, 2019. Lalonne shared the good news on social media, along with a photo of their baby girl, Élysées,’ tiny feet, as she lay inside of an incubator.
Lalonne’s labor was a scary one. She revealed that she and her baby were in a dire situation when Lalonne’s blood pressure skyrocketed. That resulted in her having an emergency C-section 8 weeks early, as well as losing a lot of blood, according to what Lalonne disclosed online. Here is what she stated on Instagram:
“This birth was by far the hardest. May 6th, eight weeks before our scheduled delivery. I had a placental abruption and underwent an emergency c-section. (Not my first, I knew this time was critical. My husband wasn’t able to come in, I was put to sleep and my sports bra and jewelry was on). This was life or death for Élysées and I.”
