It’s a nice song, but it’s not that (Club Nouveau) sound. I wish old-school artist would understand that we as their fans love them for who they are. Too many of today’s artist make songs that sound similar to each other, and it’s a big turn off for those who appreciate real music. What would make Club Nouveau any different if you came out with this type of material? We don’t care what the latest trend is in the music industry. We want Club Nouveau to sound like Club Nouveau. When you hear Frankie Beverly & Maze, you know it’s Frankie Beverly & Maze. That’s how it should be with you guys. Timex Social Club and Club Nouveau had a very unique sound, and that sound is still relevant today. Matter of fact, I can’t think of anyone whose been able to copy that sound. That’s just how different it was. The people who grew up listening to you and buying your albums are not dead, so you shouldn’t follow the new trend. Make the new trend follow you! Peace
